Difference between Regression Testing and UAT in SAP
Regression testing in SAP involves retesting the modified or new functionalities to ensure that the changes made to the system do not affect the existing functionalities. It focuses on identifying any potential issues that may arise due to the changes.
On the other hand, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in SAP is the final phase of testing before the system is released to the end users. It involves validating the system against the business requirements and ensuring that it meets the users' expectations.
While regression testing is focused on detecting defects caused by changes, UAT is focused on validating the system from the end users' perspective.
Both regression testing and UAT play crucial roles in ensuring the quality and reliability of SAP systems, but they serve different purposes and are conducted at different stages of the testing process.
