What is the difference between a Transfer Order and a Transfer Requirement in SAP WM?

In SAP Warehouse Management (WM), a Transfer Requirement is a request for materials to be moved from one location to another within the warehouse. It is generated by the system based on various factors such as picking, replenishment, or stock transfer requirements.

A Transfer Order, on the other hand, is a document that specifies the movement of materials between storage locations. It is generated from a Transfer Requirement and serves as an instruction for warehouse staff to carry out the physical movement of goods.
