Tell me about a time when you had to resolve a conflict between team members
Resolving conflicts between team members is an important aspect of being part of a team. During my previous experience, there was a conflict between two team members regarding the division of tasks and responsibilities.
As a mediator, I scheduled a meeting with both individuals to listen to their perspectives and concerns. I facilitated a constructive conversation where each team member felt heard and understood. Through active listening and open communication, we were able to identify the root cause of the conflict and find a mutually satisfactory solution.
By encouraging empathy and compromise, I helped foster a positive resolution that improved team dynamics and collaboration moving forward.
