During my time as a Clinical Research Coordinator, I encountered a challenging situation where a key study participant unexpectedly dropped out of the clinical trial due to personal reasons. This created a significant gap in the study cohort and threatened the validity of our research findings.

To effectively resolve this issue, I immediately consulted with the principal investigator and the study team to develop a plan of action. We decided to quickly recruit a replacement participant who met the study criteria and ensured that the study protocol was followed rigorously to minimize any potential biases.

I took on the responsibility of coordinating the recruitment process, conducting additional screening assessments, and facilitating the onboarding of the new participant efficiently.
