Example of a Therapy Technique
One common therapy technique that I frequently use in my practice is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT is a widely used and evidence-based approach that focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors. By helping clients recognize and challenge their distorted thoughts, CBT aims to promote healthier thinking and improve emotional well-being.
Through a structured and goal-oriented process, CBT can help individuals develop coping strategies, improve problem-solving skills, and enhance their overall quality of life. As a therapist, I find CBT to be an effective tool in addressing a variety of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.
