Resolving Conflict Within a Team - Interview Question Example
During a previous team project, there was a conflict between two team members regarding the distribution of tasks. One team member felt that the workload was unevenly distributed and expressed frustration about it.
To resolve the conflict, I decided to schedule a team meeting to address the issue openly. I encouraged both team members to share their perspectives and listen attentively to each other's concerns.
After understanding the root cause of the conflict, I proposed a new task distribution plan that took into account each team member's strengths and preferences. I made sure to communicate the rationale behind the new plan to ensure everyone was onboard.
By fostering open communication and considering the perspectives of all team members, we were able to resolve the conflict effectively and move forward with the project successfully.
