During my time as a Game Tester, I encountered a game bug while testing a new level in a mobile game. The bug caused the player character to get stuck in a wall, making it impossible to progress further in the level. This was a critical issue that needed immediate attention.
To report this bug to the development team, I followed the standard protocol set by the company. I first documented the bug in detail, including steps to reproduce it and screenshots or videos if possible. I then logged the bug in the company's bug tracking system, providing all the necessary information for the developers to understand the issue.
After logging the bug, I made sure to communicate with the development team directly, either through a dedicated communication channel or in person if possible. I explained the impact of the bug on gameplay and emphasized the urgency of fixing it before the game's release.
I also followed up regularly with the development team to provide any additional information or clarification they needed. Once the bug was fixed, I retested the level to ensure that the issue was resolved successfully.
