During a project in my previous role, I encountered a conflict with a teammate regarding the distribution of tasks. We both had different opinions on how best to approach the project, which led to tension and disagreement.
To address the conflict, I initiated an open and honest conversation with my teammate to understand their perspective and communicated my own thoughts clearly. Through active listening and a willingness to compromise, we were able to find common ground and come up with a mutually agreeable plan for task distribution.
I also recognized the importance of maintaining professionalism and respect throughout the conflict resolution process, ensuring that our working relationship remained intact. By addressing the issue promptly and constructively, we were able to move forward productively and successfully complete the project together.
