Types of Tables in SAP
There are three main types of tables in SAP:
- Transparent Tables: These tables have a one-to-one relationship with the database table. Each transparent table in SAP corresponds to a table in the database.
- Cluster Tables: Cluster tables store control data for transparent tables. They are used to store large amounts of data in a clustered format.
- Pooled Tables: Pooled tables are used to store control data in a pool. They can be accessed by multiple programs and are suitable for storing frequently accessed data.
Understanding the different types of tables in SAP is essential for efficient data management and processing.
